Celebrate Cinco de Mayo (May 5) with a Meri Meri papel picado garland

Cinco de Mayo is an annual event which commemorates the date of Mexico’s victory over France at the Battle of Puebla. It’s a large, colorful celebration of Mexican culture and heritage. People attend parades with Mexican folk dancing, mariachi bands and traditional Mexican food. In Puebla, locals take part in a big parade, dressing as French and American soldiers to re-enact the war.
